Her artistic journey blossomed into a mural business, adorning schools, churches and homes with her evocative creations. Life, however, presented challenges, with health issues affecting both Betsy and her partner. Undeterred, Betsy faced breast cancer in 2004 with courage and resilience, emerging with a renewed sense of purpose.
From part-time youth ministry to a role as one of three artists at Trader Joe's, Betsy's artistic ventures took diverse paths. In 2010, the McGrew family found their way to Alaska, where Betsy has spent the last decade teaching, selling commissions and creating breathtaking works of art. Her artistic endeavors extend beyond the canvas, as she continues to paint murals at her church.
Beyond her artistic brilliance, Betsy is a warm-hearted friend, a loving wife and a devoted mother. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Betsy cherishes every moment, whether it's fishing with her family, camping in the great outdoors, hiking in the mountains, or bringing art to life in her studio.
